Matthew Perrigin Obituary, Death – It has been determined that the victim who was shot and killed yesterday in the wee hours of the morning in Walker County is the person who has been identified. On Friday, the dead was identified as Quinton resident Matthew Perrigin, who was 32 years old. The coroner provided this information. Two separate individuals each have a warrant out for their arrest, as stated by the Walker County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO). Corey Ryan Mahaffey, age 36, from Dora is wanted for first-degree murder while committing a robbery and first-degree murder while aiding and abetting another person in the commission of a robbery.
Both of these charges carry the death penalty. In addition to this, Mahaffey is being held accountable for two counts of assault in the first degree. The authorities have stated that there are more allegations now being investigated against a male juvenile. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO), the investigation into the whereabouts of the two suspects is ongoing. Graben Hill Drive, which is located near to the boundary between Jefferson County and Walker County, was the scene of a gunshot that took place on Thursday morning.
It appears that the incident was the result of a robbery. According to the findings of the investigation, there were also two more people who were injured in the incident.
