Michelle Canny Obituary, Death – We are devastated to inform you of the passing of Michelle Canny, who was a much-loved member of our family in the roles of sister, mother, daughter, and wife. Everyone here has been left with a heavy heart after hearing the news of her passing. We have come to the conclusion that it would be appropriate to celebrate Michelle’s life by throwing a party in her name. This is in recognition of the fact that one of the activities that Michelle looked forward to the most throughout her life was getting together with the people who were most important to her.
On Friday, January 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., her funeral service will be held at Our Lady Church on Castle Street, and it will be immediately followed by her cremation at the crematorium. Her funeral mass will take place. The time and date of the service have already been decided. After that, we are going to host a celebration in her honor at the St. Margaret’s Social Club in order to celebrate her life. To ensure that we commemorate Michelle’s heritage in an appropriate manner, she has requested that each of you wear something green in her honor to demonstrate that you are aware of her Irish ancestry and to honor her.
There is going to be a memorial book, and we would be grateful if anyone who knew Michelle could contribute to it by writing a remembrance of her that included a happy memory from their own lives. We will be putting together the book, and we hope that everyone who knew Michelle will contribute to it. This information can be emailed to Michelle Canny Memories at the address michelle.memories@gmail.com. A photo, if one is available, should also be included to the message whenever possible.
We would want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you individually for the outpouring of love and support that we have received from so many of you at this challenging time. We have been overwhelmed by the amount of love and support that we have gotten from so many of you. As a more meaningful way to remember Michelle, we would appreciate it if you would consider making a contribution to Keech in her name rather than sending flowers. This would be a fitting way to memorialize her.
