Nia Simone, who had only been alive for 16 years before she passed away, has been named by her family as the one who perished as a result of this tragedy. According to her mother, she was meant to be at a sleepover on that particular night, but instead she went to a party with her friends instead.
Her mother claims that she lied to her about where she was going. Her mother is of the opinion that she ought to have attended the overnight party. Robyn Ratcliff, Simone Ratcliff’s mother, has stated that she believes her daughter was present at Club Level III on Adams Avenue at the time of the gunshot that ultimately resulted in the death of her daughter.
