Nick Chavez Obituary, Death – After a protracted and valiant fight with pancreatic cancer, Nick Chavez, 66, of Beverly Hills, California, died away peacefully with his family at his side on December 23, 2022. Come worship with our family on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at St. Monica Catholic Church, 725 California Ave, in Santa Monica, CA, beginning at 9:45 a.m. PT / 12:45 p.m. ET. He was born on December 16, 1956, in Yuma, Arizona, and was preceded by his adored parents, Juan “Copie” Chavez Jr. and Mary Kathryn “Kathy” Chavez.
Nick was adored by many people, especially by his forty-three nephews and nieces, as well as by his four sisters Sue Silva, Sonya Chavez, Sandra Chavez Hurley, and Sherri Cote, as well as by his two brothers John Chavez and Joe Chavez, sister-in-laws Paula Chavez and Joann Chavez, brother-in-laws Ralph Silva and John Hurley, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Nick had aspirations of leading an exciting life when he was younger. Nick has experience working hard because he was a ranch worker for the family. His talent for riding and caring for the family’s horses helped him fulfill his destiny as an award-winning reining champion and a world-famous hair stylist.
He later opened his own salon and founded Nick Chavez Beverly Hills, a hair care company, and attained legendary status as one of the greatest innovators and celebrity hair stylists of all time in the hair care industry. Nick was a remarkable loving man who had a remarkable love of life. He loved his family, toured the world, rode horses, danced, was an international model, actor, and entrepreneur, and he sought and achieved his aspirations. Nick lived his belief that each day was a gift from God. Then he offered grace at the conclusion of each day. Nick’s enthusiasm and dedication to bringing beauty into the world, as well as his unwavering delight and dedication to spotlighting the fact that genuine beauty originates and exists inside each of us, inspired individuals all over the world.
More hearts have been affected by him than we can possibly imagine. The tale of Nick has been a classic example of pure love. He was known for his joie de vivre, unwavering devotion to his family, empathy for his friends, and true thanks for the clients, customers, and coworkers he considered friends. His narrative does not, however, stop here. The gentle embrace of Nick’s light and his legacy of love will always be felt by us.
