Omar is survived by his wife Litsa (née Karaventza), his children Alexander, Eva, and Liam, his sister-in-law Sister Makrina (St. Kosmas Aitolos Greek Orthodox Holy Monastery), his mother Juana Rosell Aldama, his brothers Roberto (Elizabeth), and Ivan, his sisters Janet, Yusleidys, and Mirelys, as well as numerous nephews and nieces in Cuba and the United States of The His artistic accomplishments span a wide range of fields, including live performance, recording, the composition of musical scores, songwriting, and production, to name just a few of them.
Omar’s career as a musician took him all over the world, including to South America, Europe, and Asia, where he performed music at some of the most prominent locations in the world. He also played music in some of the most important venues in the United States. Because of his job, Omar traveled to many different countries. Omar was a very talented performer who shone brightly on stages all over the world. He was a global phenomenon. His performances were enjoyed by the people in the crowd very much.
Not only did he cooperate with well-known musicians from other countries, but he also worked with major Cuban performers like Justin Bieber and the Buena Vista Social Club. Additionally, he collaborated with artists from a variety of nations. During the time that he spent working as a bass player in recording sessions, he offered his services to a number of different record companies. Some of these record companies were BMG, EMI, Universal, and Warner Bros.
