Patricia Camosse Obituary, Death – After falling ill at home, Patricia M. (Cote) Camosse, 67, a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, died away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, surrounded by her adoring family. Patricia’s funeral ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, in the chapel of the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, located at 370 Plantation St. It will be a private funeral. Robert J. Cote and Beverly Ann (Thayer) Cote’s daughter Patricia was born in Worcester on October 27, 1955. Patricia, a Worcester native, completed her associates degree requirements at Quinsigamond Community College after graduating from Girls Trade.
Before relocating to Dudley in 2001, she resided in Worcester and Webster. Notably, Patricia looked after both her parents and her family. Patricia turned her passion for driving into a career. She spent several years driving coach buses and school buses for AA Transportation in Shrewsbury. She was once employed by the Silver Fox Bus Company as a driver. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, John Camosse; four children, Lisa Marie Scott and her partner Jason Dickhaut, Michelle M. Camosse, Shawn E. Tinsley, and Jonathan Camosse, all of Dudley; her father, Robert J. Cote of Dudley; and six granddaughters, Ashley, Gianna, Nevada, Adilynne, Emma, and Kylie, whom she adored and with whom she found so much joy.
In addition, Patricia is survived by her four siblings, Michael R. Cote of Bourne, Robert J. Cote, Jr. and Lisa Cantara of North Brookfield, Richard S. Cote and Linda Benson of Clinton, and Elizabeth Goodall and Arthur Breault of Punta Gorda, Florida. She also leaves behind a large number of nieces and nephews, including Kimberly, who was always there for her when she needed her. She was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Camosse, in June 2022, a sister, Michele Cote, in May 2018, and her mother, Beverly, in 1990.
She was a great person with a big heart and a cheerful grin who like driving and relished her job as a driver. Patricia and John had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and were frequently spotted riding their Harley Road King on Sunday rides, excursions to Maine and New Hampshire, Bike Week in Laconia, New Hampshire, or visits to Daytona Beach, Florida. Patricia also enjoyed taking her family camping in Maine, New Hampshire, and Cape Cod. Patricia also took pleasure in her well maintained flower beds, garden, and yard. She had the happiest times in her with her family since she loved them so much.
