Patrick spent the final part of his life working as a crossing guard on Woodstock Avenue in Swissvale. He was responsible for ensuring the safety of youngsters as they went to and from school.
Patrick had a sharp sense of Irish humor that he enjoyed to share with others, especially at the location in Swissvale that was once known as the Acorn Club. He was the type of person who would welcome anyone into his home and love them without condition, regardless of where they came from or what they believed in the world. The funeral service, also known as a Mass of Christian Burial, will take place on Friday at 11 am, and all members of the immediate family as well as close friends are invited to attend.
