Paul Twomey Obituary, Death – Paul Twomey, who had previously worked at Costcutter and Mace, passed away today, and we learned of his departure with a heavy heart due to the suddenness and unanticipated nature of his death.
Paul has been a longtime friend of the Club, and in 2015, he supported our Camán to Thurles event by providing us with specialized t-shirts for the journey.
Because of the kind nature of his heart, he went as far as coming to Semple Stadium on the day of the game to witness the females play. Paul had a hand in organizing each and every one of the activities that took place at the club, and he was the one who infamously announced, “Here are the keys; take what you need; we will fix up next week.” The following week never arrived, and despite all of our best efforts, we were never able to collect a single penny.
The assistance that Paul provided will never be forgotten, and neither will his contagious smile, his sense of humor, or his razor sharp wit. I am sure that he will be remembered fondly by a great number of people in Carrigtwohill, where he has maintained a large number of relationships over the years.
We would like to express our sincerest sympathies to his wife Tina, his children Kyle, Tristan, Nathan, and Rebecca, his mother Anna, his sister Noreen, and all of his extended family and friends.
