Richard Lasher Obituary, Death – Richard Lasher of Mt St Helens, Richard Lasher reportedly died. On Saturday, December 4, 2021, Richard Lasher passed away at home in a calm and quiet manner at the age of 79. He was the son of William R. and Tess Lasher and had spent the previous 38 years of his life in Holden. He was born in the Bronx, New York. During the conflict in Vietnam, William did his country proud by serving as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Seabees. In addition to that, he spent ten years serving as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Reserve. On September 15, 1978, Richard wed the woman who was his one and only real love, Donna J. (Roe).
The pair spent the first 38 years of their lives in Holden, and for the past eight years, they have also maintained a residence in The Villages, Florida. In more recent years, they have also called Upton home. Richard received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Columbia University, as well as a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from the same institution. Richard is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Donna J. (Roe) Lasher; his daughter, Amanda N. Ross and her husband, Patrick, of Hopkinton; his step-son, Brad A. Cornwall and his wife, Lisa, of Norwell; and his grandchildren, Jacob B. Cornwall, Declan, Griffin, Keegan, and Madigan Ross. William is also survived by his step-son, Brad A. Cornwall and his wife, Lisa, of Norwell.
On Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at 10 a.m., there will be a Memorial Service held at St. Francis Episcopal Church, which is located at 70 Highland Street in Holden. Friends and family are cordially welcome to attend. The burial will be carried out in secret.
