Robert Aumiller Death, Obituary – Robert “Rob” Aumiller has passed away on January 6, 2023 after a long, unsuccessful battle with depression. On May 14, 1987, Robert W. Aumiller and Deborah (Thoele) Aumiller became the proud parents of their first child together. They decided to call him Robert. Imaging technologist was Rob’s previous job title at Southern Illinois Healthcare, where he worked for several years. He looked forward to the time he got to spend with his kids and enjoyed it very much.
In his efforts to make the world a bit more hospitable place, he exerted himself physically and was polite, honest, and respectful in his interactions with others. He was a good-natured and helpful person who made a significant positive impact on the lives of a huge number of other people. He had a deep love for his wife and children, and he wanted to spend his free time doting on them and making sure they had everything they needed. He was a fervent participant in all kinds of games and a sports nut.
Depression made his life difficult and hindered others from always appreciating the best that he had to offer. It also caused him to withdraw emotionally from others. Rob is survived by his three children: son, John Harn, Amora Aumiller, and Emmitt Aumiller; his mother, Deborah Aumiller of Marion; his brother, Riley (Sommer) Aumiller of Maui, Hawaii; his sister, Allison (Jonathon) Holzapfel of Sedalia, Kentucky; and nieces Norah Aumiller, Deanna Aumiller, and Rosalie Holzapfel. Rob is also survived by his mother, Deborah Aumiller of Marion Rob Aumiller’s father, Richard Aumiller, passed away before his son’s birth.
Both Rob’s mother, Michelle Akins Aumiller, and his paternal grandfather, Richard Aumiller, went away before Rob did. Rob was the youngest of three childrenA memorial service honoring Rob’s life will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marion on the afternoon of Sunday, January 15, 2023, at three o’clock in the afternoon. The service will be officiated by Pastor Kim Lee-Brown.
In the future, the burial will take place at the Elmwood Cemetery in Flora, Illinois. This decision was made before. On Sunday, between the hours of 2:00 and 3:00 pm, there will be a time for people to pay their respects at the church.
