Robert Logan Obituary, Death – In the name of each and every one of the school’s pupils and students. Everyone at the school is in a very gloomy mood due to the demise of Robert Logan, who was a beloved teacher. Robert accomplished something that was quite noteworthy for the integrated education system in the Moira region of Northern Ireland as well as for the integrated education system in all of Northern Ireland as a whole. After making a tax-deductible donation of a sizeable plot of land to our organization in the year 2007, he worked productively with the Northern Ireland Council for Integrated Education and the Integrated Education Fund over the course of a number of years to assist Rowandale Integrated Primary School in getting off the ground, expanding, and getting better. This assistance was provided in order to help the school become more integrated.
It is an honor for us to name this tournament after him, and it is a privilege for us to make The Logan Forest available to our children as a place for recreation. Robert’s connection with our institution was also, in some sense, a matter of personal significance for him. He was a generous contributor to our fund-raising efforts and joined us for many of our social occasions, which he also attended. Conversation with him was both entertaining and thought-provoking. Because he played such a significant role in the life of our entire school community, he made himself readily available whenever an urgent situation arose. This included assistance with starting a car, rearranging furniture in classrooms, and guiding children and their parents safely back to their homes during inclement weather.
The random acts of kindness that he conducted, such as providing food to people who were working late or leaving boxes of buns for his staff to find when they got at work, are things that we will never forget and will always remember him for. He was always willing to talk to people and was always ready to help or support them in whatever capacity they required. He was always willing to talk to people. In the early days of Rowandale, when we were working to get our first “used” mobile ready for the first day of school, Robert and Colleen were so kind to “the workers” by letting them stay at their house. During that time, we were working to get our first “used” mobile ready for the first day of school. During that time, we were working hard to prepare our first “used” mobile for the first day of school as best we could. We want Robert’s wife Colleen, his sons Chris and Alistair, his daughters-in-law Roisin and Beth, his grandchildren Isla, Luke, Charlotte, Noah, Catherine, and Elsie, and the rest of Robert’s family to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them.
