Robin Rutledge Death, Obituary – An automobile collision was the cause of death for Robin Lynn Wilson Rutledge, age 22 and a resident of Magnolia. She passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023. She received her high school diploma from Hart County High School in 2018 and is expected to receive her bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Campbellsville University in 2022. She was a graduate of both the Hart County Raider Band and the CU Tiger Marching Band, both of which she was a member of for four years. During both of her senior years, she was the band’s drum major and played the clarinet.
Both at North Jackson Elementary School, where she taught music, and with the Hart County Marching Band, for which she served as Assistant Director. She played the piano for the Worship Team at the Rowletts Baptist Church, where she was a member of the congregation. She had a lifelong love and passion for music, and one of her greatest delights was sharing that love and passion with her pupils and the family she had found in her church. Her maternal grandparents, Tony and Sandra Wilson, have passed away, and Robin was raised without them.
Robin is survived by her husband, Jacob Rutledge of Magnolia; her parents A.J. and Ronda Wilson and a sister, Carlee Wilson all of Jonesville; her grandparents, Ron and Doneva Reynolds of Magnolia; her uncles, Tom (Hope) Reynolds and Ethan (Kaitlyn) Reynolds all of Magnolia; her aunt, Renee (John) Garner Bonnieville; her cousins, Madden Reynolds, Brody and Collins Garner; her father and mother-in-law, Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Rowletts Baptist Church in Munfordville, with Bro. Scott Coats serving as the officiant. The funeral will begin at 11 a.m. (Central Time). After the funeral, the body will be transported to Jaggers Cemetery located close to Magnolia.
