Rodney Worden Obituary, death – On the 18th of January 2023, Rodney Worden passed away at the age of 74. He was sent to the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor for his final care. In Jackson, Michigan, on the 22nd of December in 1948, he was born. His parents were R.V. and Doris K. (Lehman) Worden. His mother’s maiden name was Lehman, and he took it after her. Rodney was the older brother of a pair of identical twins, and he was known as “the twins’ uncle.” He spent his first year of existence at the house in Munith that belonged to his grandparents before moving to Chelsea in the 1950s with the rest of his family.
This move took place in the decade of the 1950s. When he was 14 years old, he was involved in a sledding accident that left him with a disability in his right shoulder and arm. The damage occurred as a result of the event. Rodney graduated from Chelsea High School in 1967, having received his secondary education there. Even though he suffered from a medical condition, he was able to continue working in the janitorial maintenance department at the Beach Middle School in Chelsea for nearly 30 years. Prior to moving into the assisted living facility, Rodney had already lived his prior four years on his own.
He was successful in overcoming a variety of health issues, but in the end, he was undone by a severe infection. Rodney is survived by his brother Ronald Worden, who resides in Chelsea; an uncle, Richard Worden; an aunt, Betty Cowan; and a number of cousins, acquaintances, and other relatives. Richard Worden and Betty Cowan are Rodney’s uncle and aunt, respectively. His parents died before he did in this incarnation, so he never got to meet them.
