Ryan Arnott Death, Obituary – Ryan John Arnott (Straface) of Thornwood, New York, passed away January 14, 2023, two weeks shy of his 33rd birthday. Ryan Straface was born on January 29, 1990. His parents are James Straface and Nancy Straface (née Ketterer), and he is their son. In 2008, Ryan completed his high school education at West Lake and received his diploma. Later on, following his enrollment at SUNY Cortlandt, he went on to earn a master’s degree in philosophy from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
Ryan is an intelligent and inquisitive individual who furthered his education by attending Washington University in St. Louis and receiving his Juris Doctor degree there. Ryan worked as an attorney for Discovery Capital Management in Norwalk, Connecticut. Norwalk is located in the state of Connecticut. He is adored not only for his warmth, friendliness, and intelligence but also for his love of reading and education, all of which contribute to his overall admirability.
Ryan was an avid sports fan who cheered for both the New York Giants and the New York Yankees. Ryan, a fervent botanist, used to take his son Connor and their German shepherd, Nietzsche, named after one of Ryan’s favorite philosophers, on long walks throughout the countryside. Ryan took great pleasure in the kitchen, especially when he got to show off his famous cowboy steaks to his loved ones. He is survived by his cherished son Connor, his doting mother Sinead, and his devoted parents Nancy and James Straface. Alivia, Dean, Luca, Jackson, Xander, and Isla are the lucky niece and nephews of Ryan, who is a dedicated uncle.
He is the cherished sibling of Scott Straface, who is married to Stephanie, Christopher Straface, who is married to Julie, as well as Jenna Geysen (Lance). In addition, he is survived by his aunts and uncles, Vincent and Nancy Straface, Steven Straface, Debbie and Jim Ziska, Diane and Tony Consigliere, Liz and Kenny Muller, and Nancy and Nancy Straface. In order to celebrate Ryan’s life, family and friends will get together on Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, which is located at 767 E. Boston Post Rd. in Mamaroneck and can be reached at (914) 698-5968. On Friday, at the St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., and it will be followed by an interment at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
