Sara Tindley, Obituary, Death – We are overcome with grief over the passing of one of the most naturally gifted and astoundingly talented composers. Sara Tindley had a heart and a grin that drew you in and made you feel like you were the special one in the room, but of course it was really Sara that lighted up the room, ignited the fire, and made the space cozy for sharing intelligent conversation.
We count it as a blessing that you’ve been able to attend our festival on multiple occasions, and we’re very sorry that we won’t be able to give you a warm embrace, listen to your beautiful music, and learn from your insightful lyrics any longer… love to you in profound gratitude for everything you’ve created.
‘Greetings from Lake St. Clair’ is the title of Sara Tindley’s fifth album recorded in a studio. credits published on November 7th, 2022 Except for “Other Side of the Mountain,” which was written by Chris Altmann, all of the songs were written by Sara Tindley. Sara Tindley: voice, guitar, banjo Lucie Thorne was responsible for the guitars and backup vocals. Chris Parkinson plays the guitars. Brett Canning: bass Scott Hills: drums Providing background vocals is Ashley Bell. Poppy Bayley-Tindley contributed backing vocals to the song “Swanling.” Whistle solo performed by Jimmy Dowling on “Head in the Clouds” On “Down the Avenue,” supporting vocals were provided by Suzannah Espie, Robyn Chalklen, and Nadine Budge.
