Scott Simdorn Death, Obituary – On Saturday, January 7, 2023, Scott Alan Simdorn, who was 64 years old and a resident of Ottertail, Minnesota, was taken from this world in a tragic and unanticipated accident. As a consequence of the hazy conditions that existed at the time, he crashed his snowmobile into a section of open water that was located on Otter Tail Lake, causing the tragic accident that happened. On September 12th, 1958, Scott Simdorn’s parents, Gerald and Carol Betty (Breuer), conceived of their future son, and they gave birth to him in Breckenridge, Minnesota. Before moving to Otter Tail Lake with his family in 2006, he and his family resided on a farm not far from Wahpeton, in the state of North Dakota.
He graduated from Wyndemere High School in 1976 with high honors and was a member of the school’s National Honor Society. In 1979, he earned an associate’s degree in Electronics after completing his studies at the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, which is located in Wahpeton, North Dakota. After completing his education, he started his professional life at Minn-Dak, where he worked for more than 10 years until making the transfer into the sales industry. After spending over 25 years employed with Swanson Flo Systems, he made the decision to launch his own company, which he later christened Control Dynamics. His company was ultimately purchased by Swanson Flo Systems.
In 1993, he wed Jeanette “Netty,” and nearly as soon as the wedding was over, he began to spend his life not just with her but also with her children. This continued for the rest of his life. Never in his life did he consider being a stepfather to be a difficult job, despite the fact that the vast majority of people are aware of the difficulty associated with this role. Instead, he made it a point to show his thankfulness on a regular basis for the fact that a full family was bestowed to him in a single day. Scott is survived by his mother, Carol Betty (Breuer) Simdorn, as well as a close friend of hers named Harold Ford; his children, Nichole (Jonathan) Hager, Brian (Molly) Haan, and Dustin (Jisun) Haan, in addition to their mother, Jeanette; and his grandchildren, Sam, Eli, and Ivy Hager, Emmett, and Keira Haan. In addition, he is survived by his sister, Yvonne Mauch, who is married to Tom Mauch; his nephews Justin Mauch (Rachel), Brandon Mauch, David Mauch, and Noah Simdorn; and his grandnephew Miles Mauch. Yvonne Mauch is also survived by her husband, Tom Mauch.
