Steven Sampson Obituary, Death – After the floods that occurred on New Year’s Eve, the coroner for Sacramento County was able to positively identify all three of the victims who were situated in the southern portion of the county who had passed away as a result of their injuries. The location where all three bodies were discovered in the county is the same. The following is a list of the characteristics that distinguish them: Steven Sampson was born in the year 1973 in the community of McAlester, which is located in the state of Oklahoma. Katherine Martinez was born and raised in the city of Orland, which is located in the state of California. Martinez has been a resident of California for all 61 of her years. Mei Keng Lam makes her home in San Leandro, which is situated in the region of California known as California. Lam is 57 years old at this point.
It has been verified by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office that the corpse of Martinez was discovered on Wednesday inside a car that had been flooded due to the flooding that occurred on New Hope Road west of Orr Road. This information was provided by the Sheriff’s Office. The flooding had been brought on by the torrential rains that had fallen earlier in the week. There is water that has not moved in the region that is located to the west of Galt and along a portion of New Hope Road. Her relatives said that they discovered Martinez’s vehicle on their own and brought it to the station two days after they had notified the sheriff’s office that Martinez was gone and had reported her as missing. After they had already notified the sheriff’s office that Martinez was gone, this event took place. Martinez’s son expressed his dismay at the circumstance to his mother over the phone, saying, “It’s sad in this tough time that we were doing all the legwork to find her.”
It was clear that he was making reference to the fact that they had been looking for Martinez. Amar Gandhi, a spokesperson for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, issued a statement in which she sent her condolences to the family of the victim. He stated, “Of course, we feel for the family, and we want the family to know that we sympathize with them.” Gandhi stated that there was no cause to assume that Martinez was “in danger” at the time that the allegation of her disappearance was filed, and that Martinez had not been reported missing. His opinion is that there is a predetermined list of requirements that one must fulfill before they can be considered to be in danger. This list must be fulfilled before one can be considered to be in danger. If all of these conditions are present, then the person in question is in a potentially dangerous situation.
The corpse of Lam was discovered a few hours before the body of Martinez was recovered on Dillard Road, which is located east of Highway 99, as stated by the California Highway Patrol. According to this information, the distance between each of their findings is about equivalent to thirty minutes while commuting by automobile. The body of Lam was found in a field about ten in the morning, as stated by the authorities who were in charge of the investigation. The officer from the California Highway Patrol is certain that she is in communication with a vehicle that has been disabled and unable to move. On Sunday, the authorities found the corpse of Sampson inside a car that had been submerged in water. The vehicle was found in the same general region close to Highway 99 as before.
