Theresa Longo Obituary, Death – Theresa Longo December 26, 2022 After a courageous struggle against cancer, Theresa Longo passed away on December 26, 2022 at the age of 80 in a quiet and dignified manner. Since the 26th of December in the previous year, she had been waging war against the sickness. After completing her high school studies at West Genesee High School in 1960, Theresa was honored with the award of a certificate from that institution. Theresa spent a large portion of her adult life employed with Wegmans in Fairmount Fair as an administrative assistant at the store’s Fairmount Fair location. She had reached a point in her life where she was pleased with both her work life and the relationships with other individuals that she had cultivated as a direct result of her employment.
Theresa’s favorite things to do included baking (especially her world-famous chocolate chip cookies), playing bunco and card games, and going to the casino, despite the fact that she was never able to win a significant amount of money at the casino. In particular, her chocolate chip cookie recipe is legendary. Cookies with chocolate chips were her go-to choice for anything she cooked. Theresa was preceded in death by her brother Richard Dodge, her parents Richard and Louise Dodge, her grandparents Richard and Louise Dodge, her two sisters Carol (Linda) Colabufo and Karen (Suzie) Jusek, as well as her cherished granddaughter Alora Meyers and her niece Roxane Davis. Theresa is survived by her cherished granddaughter Alora Meyers and her niece Roxane Davis.
