Timothy Hodge Obituary, Death – Tim “Hodgie” Because Hodge was a member of the Oriskany Falls Volunteer Fire Department for his entire life and was held in very high regard by his colleagues, the department is going through a period of profound bereavement as a direct result of his passing. Hodge served in the department until the day he passed away. Hodge spent his entire life serving in the police department as a member of the force. Before Tim started working with us in 1994, he put in a significant amount of time as a volunteer fireman for the Bridgewater Fire Department. During that time, he was involved in a number of different firefighting duties. During his tenure with the department, he has held a variety of roles, some of which include that of Fire Lieutenant and Chairman of a number of fund-raising events, some of which include Chicken BBQs. Most recently, he was promoted to the post of Vice President of the department.
His most recent role was that of Vice President, which he held for a short time. Serving his community in a variety of capacities, the most recent of which was as an active participant in our Fire Police assemblage, was something that brought him a great deal of joy and fulfillment in his life. It was one of the things that he did throughout his life that brought him the most satisfaction. He will be remembered for his eagerness to put out fires, especially in Engine 434, his willingness to provide a helping hand whenever it was required, and the fact that he was always up for having a good time. In particular, Engine 434 will remember him for his enthusiasm. The members of Engine 434 will remember him, in particular, for his boundless zeal. In particular, Engine 434 will remember him for his willingness to put out fires whenever they occurred. he was such a good friend to such a large number of people, everyone who had the opportunity to know this man and work with him would greatly grieve his departure because he was such a good friend to so many people.
Everyone who had the luxury of working with him and getting to know him will grieve his death terribly. His passing will be deeply mourned.
