Trey Reynolds Obituary, Death – The purpose of this is to educate those who are clueless. Recent news reports indicate that Trey Reynolds, who was a brother to both the Gator Gridiron and the Duckroost Diamond, has passed away. The news of his departure has left us feeling incredibly sad and helpless. Trey’s formal schooling came to an end in 1992, and he was awarded his diploma at that time.
In addition to participating in football, he was a member of the baseball team that took first place in the state championship in 1991. Trey and I haven’t had any contact with each other in a good number of years, but based on what I can remember about him, he was a nice and friendly person. An exceptional athlete who is also a son, brother, father, husband, and friend to his family and friends. In the course of the previous 15 years, he has been residing in Germany as his primary place of residence.
He had been given a clean bill of health earlier in the year, but the cancer came back, and this time it was far more aggressive; he died yesterday. Our sincerest condolences go out to his father, John; his mother, Claire Mahfouz, who was a lifelong teacher at SAHS; his brothers Scott and Marc; his wife, Kajtia; his two lovely daughters, Lilly and Maddie; and the rest of his family and friends who were affected by his passing. Trey, I pray that you find peace in death. A good number of the older boys will miss having you around.
