Velma Seidl Obituary, Death – On Monday, January 16, 2023, Velma M. Seidl, who was 89 years old and originally from Ripon, Wisconsin, passed away at Eden Vista in Ripon. Velma was born in Alto, Wisconsin, on March 27th, and her birthday is on the 27th of March. She was the sixth of Elmer and Anes Vande Zande’s thirteen children and their daughter. She was also the sixth child of her parents. After completing her degree, Velma found employment in the manufacturing sector and remained there for a number of years.
Along with knitting, crocheting, and bowling, one of her favorite things to do was travel, and notably to Israel. Other favorite pastimes of hers include bowling, knitting, and crocheting. Velma is survived by her siblings, Delores Vande Kolk of Waupun, Wisconsin, Elaine (Robert) Veenhuis of Sugar Creek, Ohio, Keith Vande Zande of Fox Lake, Wisconsin, and Judy Vernon of Ripon, Wisconsin; her sisters-in-law, Kay Vande Zande of Waupun, Wisconsin, and Millie Vande Zande of Waupun, Wisconsin; and a large number of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Velma has left us forever. Velma is preceded in death by her son, Danny Witkowski; husband, Jim Seidl;

Visitation for Velma will be held at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The address of the funeral home is 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, Wisconsin 54971. Velma’s funeral will be held at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home on the 21st of January, 2023, at 11:00 in the morning, and Pastor Joshua Sherman will preside over the event. Velma passed away on the 21st of January, 2023.
