Vincent O’Grady Obituary, Death – The family of Vincy O’Grady, who resided in Camlough and passed away quietly at home on December 31, 2022, would like to express their gratitude to everyone who was thoughtful to us and assisted us in coping with our recent loss. Many thanks to everyone who attended the funeral and who also came to the house. We would like to express our gratitude for the condolence cards, Mass Offerings, flowers, and flowers sent in lieu of flowers that were sent to The Friends and Family of Rathore School.
We are indebted to all of those who assisted with the funeral as well as those who brought meals to the house, and for this, we are extremely thankful. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Palliative Care Team (Bessbrook), District Nurses, Medical, Nursing, Radiology, and Radiotherapy staff at both Daisy Hill Hospital and the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital. Additionally, we would like to thank Radiology and Radiotherapy staff at Belfast City Hospital. They treated Daddy and the rest of us, both him and us, with professionalism, care, sympathy, and support during his sickness.
We would also want to express our gratitude to Dr. McKinley, the personnel at Cornmarket Surgery (Camlough/Newry), and the members of the Meigh Pharmacy team for the care and assistance they have provided over the years.
A debt of gratitude is owed to Father Sean Larkin for the assistance, prayers, and leadership he provided at the Requiem Mass. I would also like to extend my gratitude to everyone who assisted with the Mass, particularly Bronach and Grace for the lovely music that they provided.
As an additional gesture of gratitude, I would like to thank the management and staff of the Flagstaff Lodge for supplying refreshments following the funeral. I would want to extend my gratitude to McGennity Funeral Directors for all of their assistance, guidance, and the dignified manner in which they handled the funeral arrangements. We are unable to personally thank each person for their contribution, therefore we are hoping that this will be sufficient to demonstrate how much we value your efforts.
On the evening of Saturday, January 28, at 7:30 p.m., the Vincy’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated at St. Malachy’s Church in Carrickcruppen. I pray that he finds the serenity he seeks.
