Wayne Warren Obituary, Death -ROCHESTER, New York – David Wayne “Butchie” Warren passed away at the age of 74, on January 16, 2023, in Midland, Texas, according to his obituary. David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and companion. Wayne was born on October 16, 1948 in Gorman, Texas, and grew up in Eastland and Monahans, Texas. He was a proud Monahans Lobo who participated in a variety of sports and still holds school records in the discus. David enlisted in the army voluntarily in 1969, along with two close friends.
Until 1974, he served his country on active duty and in the reserves. In 1972, he married his wife, Susan. Jennifer, Lorie, and David Stewart were their three children. David relocated to Midland in 1979, where he rose to prominence as an accomplished and well-known oil industry salesman. He enjoyed organizing and hosting numerous golf tournaments. David will be remembered as a friendly, outgoing individual who enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, all sports, grilling, and entertaining.
David was predeceased by his parents, H.D. and Margie Warren, as well as his sister, Carolyn Warren. His wife of 50 years, Susan, and their three children, Jennifer (Aaron) Cristan, Lorie (Gerardo) Aguilar, and David (Amanda) Warren, survive him. Nicolas, Clair, and Carson Cristan, Korbin, Skylyn, Greysen, and Hudson Aguilar, and David Cole and Evelyn are among his nine grandchildren.
